I regret to announce that due to the recent escalation of Covid-19 to the status of global pandemic by the World Health Organization, I have made the difficult decision, along with my publisher Simon and Schuster and Simon and Schuster Canada, to postpone the events scheduled for my upcoming book tour for A Conspiracy of Bones. As schools and universities, sporting events and festivals, and many other large gatherings suspend operations to implement preventative social distancing, I feel it is the responsible thing for me to do at this time. This decision was not made lightly, and I am sorry to the event organizers across the US and Canada who were graciously hosting me, and to my wonderful readers who were coming out to meet me. However, all of our health and safety is paramount, and in this unprecedented time I cannot encourage anyone to come out to a large gathering on my behalf and put themselves or anyone else at risk. Our hope is to postpone the events of my March tour, and to reschedule them at a future date when the risks are lower. Thank you for your understanding, stay safe, and wash your hands.
