Popular forensic scientists provide a fascinating look
at the real science of forensics.
Featuring:
Dr. Bruce Goldberger, AAFS past president and Chief of Forensic Medicine at the University of Florida, hosts the
program.
48 Hours opens the program with a showcase of the series, which is a weekly hour-long show that has
specialized in issues of crime and law and justice for over 25 years.
Dr. Henry Lee, one of the world’s foremost forensic scientists who has consulted on more than 8,000 criminal
cases, including the O.J. Simpson trial and the JonBenet Ramsey murder investigation.
Dr. Kathy Reichs, forensic anthropologist, New York Times best-selling forensic mystery author and producer of
the popular TV series “Bones.”
Dr. Jan C. Garavaglia, aka Dr. G, is the chief medical examiner for the District Nine Medical Examiner’s Office in
Florida and is featured on “Dr. G: Medical Examiner,” the popular Discovery Health series where she explores
cases that come into the medical examiner’s office.
